...can't log in but actually wanted to try some Hib/BG like me today on Excal.

DAoC Freeshard if you don't know it yet. You start in the capital city with lvl 24 and 400g and when you port out you're directly in Thid ;)
Though you gotta patch up to 1.67 and stuff which more or less takes some time but I always wanted to play without buffbots and SC again. ( Buffs got a range of 2000 there wooohoo ) :))) Definately worth a try me thinks.
Regards
Oh another feature:
Assassins have lethal killing ability when they set up a target correctly. But without that ability they would not be able to solo effectively. However when assassins cluster in large numbers their damage output is devastating. Assassins rely on their stealth, but when several stealthers are in the same small area it doesn't make sense that the enemy can not see them. So a new, controversial, feature has been added to combat this; the more stealthers surrounding you, the easier it is for the enemy to spot you. This will only affect the "stealth zergs" and will have no effect on the soloer. The range of influence starts at 750 and grows stronger the closer the assassins get to each other.
Already love it :P They got all the stuff Mythic should've done by now.
