BF2 patch problems - look here

There is a few diff problems with the patch. Ive found 2 solutions which I hope help some of you if needed.

if you just get the error "patch failed", with no other explanation, look here:

follow the steps there UPTO step 7 (dont do step 7).

Instead copy the files in the patch folder into your Battlefield 2 folder.

click START -> RUN -> cmd

type cd "c:\Program Files\EA GAMES\Battlefield 2\". (replace with the location you installed bf2.)

you should now see: C:\Program Files\EA GAMES\Battlefield 2>
here type patch.exe.

this should run the patcher now and you should see lots of file updates etc.
