Hi..
Promissed to write my 50 cent to dual accounting without ghost lag =)
So here we go :)
First of all.. The settings i use in DAOC is:
/clientsleep background on both accounts..
Highest FPS on both accounts
Fullscreen - I think this is pretty important since windowed takes more system ressouces! I couldnt do it in windowed :(
Caching is set to Armor only i think -> Don't know the best setting for this thou...
I using the Catas client, which as far as i now i MUCH better for dual accouting since you get even less LD's and so on..
This alone will ( with my experince ) give you a lot of ghost lag :(
But: THIS little trick helped for both shantosar and i:
1. Right click on My computer
2. Click Properties
3. Now click the advanced page.
Your window should now look something familar to this..
Mine is in danish, so don't worry about the text =)

4. Click the highlighted button [The first button from top]
5. Now click the advanced page.
And again - this should be the image you see:
http://img.calico-jack.dk/daoc/2.JPG
6. As standard the left radio button is selected - but the trick is to select the right radio button.
As far as i know, this means that it preserves CPU time for background process - that will be you second account =)
Perhaps you need to reset the setting when not playing DAOC if other programs runs slower or similar..
Also, the game perhaps runs a bit slower than normal - but if you can't live with it use this setting when travelling around with your alt, ie. in PoC and AC, and then switch it back ...
I'll try and see if i can find this setting in the registry tool, and create a .reg file to you guys =)
I wont promise i'll work - but what the heck, give it a try.. it worked for me and shantosar...
Please let me know if it works or not...
My setup is a:
1.8 GHz Pentium M
1GB PC3200 ram
Radeon 9700 128MB
^A laptop =)
