Having problems accessing guild forums also - main pc has always been ok but this bag of bolts cant seem to get access, take it I need to be authorized again?

If your main pc can access the forums but your 2nd one cant it sounds like a problem at your end rather than with the forum.

Well I'm not too clued up on teh whole intarweb thing - I've tried allowing all cookies from this site but still no joy

Empty your cookies first, in IE tools>internet options>delete cookies

Worth a try, then just try and log in again.

What version of IE is that?

its normally tools -> internet options -> delete files -> check the delete all offline content box then click ok
